Carrie Underwood's Family Thanksgiving

When it comes to celebrating holidays country style, good food and time with loved ones are always part of the equation, even for global superstar Carrie Underwood.

With Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday (November 22), Carrie's family may not have traditions that are set in place, but one thing is for sure – they will be spending this time together.

Carrie recently shared that what she is most thankful for this year is her family saying, “I am thankful for, definitely my family. I just have the best. The best kid in the world and another one on the way. I’m thankful that my busy season is about to slow down and I am going to get to really spend some time with them.”

In 2015, Carrie had a slight pumpkin pie snafu and shared the comedy of errors via Instagram. “On tomorrow’s menu...pumpkin failure a la mode. #thanksgivingfail #sad #nodessert #smokedetector #ineedanewoven,” she quipped. Things improved the following year with no disasters to report.

In 2017, the “Smoke Break” singer debuted her Thanksgiving kitchen skills to husband, Mike Fisher, who in years past had been traveling with his hockey team. No burnt pie disasters were reported.

From food and family to football and friends, Carrie does have big plans to be indulging in all of the good food this year.
