Whiskey Myers' John Jeffers And Wife Hope Welcome Son Jag Wilder

Whiskey Myers' John Jeffers and his wife Hope welcomed their first child, Jag Wilder Jeffers, on Sunday, November 22. People reports that the baby boy arrived at 3:13 p.m., weighing 8 lbs., 2 oz. and measuring 20 inches.

"This perfect boy has surpassed all of our greatest prayers," Hope wrote on Instagram alongside an adorable photo of the newborn. "We are beyond in love. Hand picked by God and his guardian angels. It had to be him. 🖤✨"

"He’s a strong one! Decided to prove that to us on Sunday," John captioned his Instagram post. "Welcome to the world my son! We’ve been waiting on you. 🖤"

The couple revealed they were expecting their first child in May. "My wife Hope and I are blessed to say we are pregnant," John told People at the time. "This is an answered prayer during one of the most uncertain times, not only in the music industry but throughout the world."

The guitarist and vocalist went on to joke that his "new 'job' consists of holding hair back during morning sickness, Taco Bell runs and major decision-making between chocolate pudding or chocolate ice cream." He added, "God truly does work in mysterious ways."

John and Hope tried for a year and a half to conceive naturally, before they decided to turn to an alternative-medicine practice. "We really wanted to try as hard as we could to conceive naturally and our last try was with a fertility acupuncturist," John explained at the time. "After a few months of weekly sessions with her, waaalahhhhh, pregnant!"

Congrats to the adorable family of three!
