Does your “9 to 5” shift need a pick me up? Maybe a new Dolly Parton mug for your coffee cup collection would do the trick? Well, we have good news.
The country music icon is putting her savvy business skills to work yet again in a fashion-forward lifestyle line that includes jewelry, accessories, and home goods. These lifestyle products will be a part of Dolly's long-term global licensing deal with IMG.
"I am excited to be working with IMG on a global scale to give my fans products that they will cherish for years to come," the country music legend tweeted on May 2. "You might even see my mug on a mug!"
IMG is a promotional company found under the WME umbrella and has been responsible for a variety of successful deals including; Jimmy Dean Sausage, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Minnie Pearl's Chicken and Wrangler's George Strait Collection.
IMG is excited to add Dolly's product line vision to their line. "Dolly Parton is an international icon, and we are thrilled to be working with her," says IMG Licensing Vice President Gary Krakower in a press release. "Together, we look forward to building cohesive lifestyle brand products that will celebrate Dolly and bring her iconic style and personality to her millions of fans worldwide in engaging new ways."
