Dolly Parton To Perform Special Duet On 'Christmas In Rockefeller Center'

Dolly Parton, Dan + Shay, and Brett Eldredge are among the country artists who are scheduled to appear on this year's Christmas In Rockefeller Center special on NBC.

The holiday program, airing on Wednesday, December 2 from 8-10PM ET, will also include appearances from Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor, Goo Goo Dolls, Pentatonix, Jimmy Fallon, Tori Kelly, Leslie Odom Jr. and Earth, Wind and Fire. Music Row reports that the evening will feature several collaborations including Parton and Fallon who will perform their duet from A Holly Dolly Christmas, "All I Want For Christmas Is You." Clarkson and Eldredge will also perform together, while Trainor teams up with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group Earth, Wind & Fire. Additionally, the cast of Tony-winning musical Ain't Too Proud and the Radio City Rockettes are also expected to appear.

"Every year our viewers look forward to NBC’s iconic tree-lighting ceremony," Doug Vaughan, Executive Vice President, Special Programs, NBC Entertainment said. "There’s something special about kicking off the holiday season with such an awe-inspiring event."

In addition to the performances, this year's special will also give viewers the opportunity to donate to Red Nose Day. Red Nose Day is a charity with the mission to end child poverty by funding programs that keep children safe, healthy and educated.

Be sure to tune into NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center on December 2 at 8 PM ET. This is just one of several upcoming holiday specials featuring some of country music's biggest stars.

The 2020 CMA Country Christmas, airing on November 30 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC, will include performances from Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, Gabby Barrett, Tim McGraw and more. Additionally Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's will return to CBS on December 20 for a one-hour Christmas special titled, Garth & Trisha Live! A Holiday Concert Event.
