STORM CHASERS: Three Dead Chasing Texas Tornado

Three storm chasers, including two who were working for the Weather Channel, were killed yesterday (Tuesday) pursuing a tornado in Texas.

Kelley Williamson and Randy Yarnall were in a car tracking down some severe weather in West Texas when they ran a stop sign and collided with another storm chaser, Corbin Lee Jaeger. All three men were killed instantly. The Weather Channel released a statement saying, "Kelley and Randy were beloved members of the weather community. We are saddened by this loss and our deepest sympathies go out to the families and loved ones of all involved."

The string of severe storms is moving eastward and could bring tornadoes to parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. (USA Today)
