Garth Brooks seems to be taking a page from Oprah Winfrey's book by giving away big gifts to members of his audience.
The latest recipient of his generosity is a couple who attended his opening night at the Cajundome in Lousiana. Garth noticed a woman holding a sign that said, "Best week ever: Garth this Friday, our wedding next Friday." He said he would send them a wedding gift from their registry -- and he delivered big time.
The couple arrived home yesterday (Thursday) and found huge boxes containing lounge chairs, a mixer, patio lights, a meat grinder and other assorted goodies. (USA Today)
