Kip Moore Drops Highly Anticipated New Single 'She's Mine'

Kip Moore just released the lead single of his forthcoming studio album titled, “She’s Mine” on Friday (August 9). The new single written by Moore himself alongside Dan Couch and Scott Stepakoff, is the first taste he’s given fans at what’s to come.

“I wrote this song at a time in my life when I realized that my life was flipped upside down and I didn’t even know which way was up,” Moore shares. “Every experience from there forward, I felt like everything was going to be a surprise. I didn’t know where I was going to end up, who I was going to meet or who I was going to be with. I’m fired up to be getting new music out there, and this song is just the beginning. I know the fans are ready and so am I.”

An album release date has yet to be announced, although Moore shares with Rolling Stone that the album will heavily reflect how he’s “still as wild as a tumbleweed as I’ve ever been.” He dives deeper saying, “I have no idea where I am going to end up, or what the next chapter of my life is going to look like. Not to scare people, but I don’t even know what music looks like for me in five years. I have all kinds of crazy ideas and mission work I want to do. I’m always chasing passion, and the minute I don’t feel passion I let it go and start a new chapter.”

To summarize the album as a whole, he shares, “Too often we just kind of float by, and nobody is taking time to really think. And that’s reflected on this record. There is a lot of weight on this project as a whole.”

Stay tuned for more details to be released on the new project. In the meantime, Moore will kick off his six-date “Bud Light Dive Bar Tour” on August 15 in Detroit, MI. He’ll also continue his popular “Room To Spare: Acoustic Tour” for a third leg. Special guests, Tucker Beathard, Devin Dawson and Kylie Morgan will also join Moore for select dates.

“She’s Mine” follows up previous singles like “More Girls Like You,” “Last Shot,” and “The Bull” off his 2017 studio album, Slowheart. Take a listen to Moore’s new track below.
