Reba McEntire is reuniting with another former Reba costar on her new comedy show.
âWeâre so back!â McEntire wrote in her caption on Instagram as she shared a glimpse with Melissa Peterman and Steve Howey. The legendary singer-songwriter starred alongside Peterman and Howey on the beloved 2000s sitcom, which premiered in 2001 and ran until 2007. McEntire played a single mother of three in Houston, Texas, and Peterman played her unlikely friend. Howey played McEntireâs son-in-law. The show also starred Christopher Rich, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Scarlett Pomers and Mitch Holleman.
Happyâs Place made its debut in October. The new series stars McEntire as Bobbie, who âinherits a restaurant from her late father, then learns she must share ownership with a newly discovered half-sister, creating awkward tension between the two,â its description reads. The show was created by Julie Abbott and Kevin Abbott. McEntire stars in Happyâs Place alongside Peterman, Belissa Escobedo and Rex Linn. McEntire said on her Instagram story on Friday afternoon (December 6) that âwe had [too much fun] having [Steve Howey} on the show!â
Happyâs Place airs on Fridays at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on NBC, and is available to stream the following day on Peacock.
