Perseverance Rover Made Oxygen Out Of Martian Air

I don't know about y'all, but the only chemical compound I am halfway decent at creating is carbon dioxide. Which isn't special, we have entirely too much of that floating around on earth. This robot,182 million miles away from Earth, is out there just making breathable oxygen like it was a regal old Oak tree just doin' its thing in the sunshine pumping out the life-giving gas we all demand on a daily basis. That's right, a robot all by itself on a Martian planet is happily making oxygen. Click here to read more about what this means for the future of science and space travel.
