Bobby Bones Show Listener Finds Diamond at Crater of Diamonds State Park

The Crater of Diamonds State Park has been a long time topic of conversation on The Bobby Bones Show.

They sent Lunchbox to the park a few years back and there was a whole lot of drama. Abby went with him and neither of them were able to find any diamonds, although Abby did pull of a whole prank that alluded to her finding a diamond. Lunchbox was so mad because it was hot out and he dug for hours with no luck.

The show has read multiple stories on air since Lunchbox and Abby went to the state park of other people finding diamonds, and really big ones at that. Well, this latest news story may be the best one yet.

Scott and Jennifer Freitas of Florida listen to the Bobby Bones Show and heard the show talking about the state park all these years. They planned a road trip through Alabama and Mississippi with the Crater of Diamonds State Park as the destination. On their third bucket of digging, they found the second-largest diamond of the year. Park staff identified it as a 3.36-carat white diamond. It was crystal clear in the center with off-white edges, about the size of a blueberry.
